Soybru Handcrafted Finishing Soy Sauce is naturally brewed and aged in small batches on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Using a traditional Japanese soy sauce process, we take our time to perfect Soybru's deep, rich flavour.
Soybru is for everyday use but you'll find that a little goes a long way to enhance the flavours of your favourite meals.
Our star ingredients are organic PEI soybeans and Island-grown wheat berries. Our brine begins with filtered pristine Atlantic ocean water harvested by local fishermen.
Our natural process takes these ingredients and adds time: Soybru fermentation takes more than 1 year!
The result is a complex soy sauce which can be used to elevate your meals and to add a quality local accent to any gathering.
Founded in Prince Edward Island by a group of friends with a love for all things soy sauce. We realized everything needed to make our own traditional-style brew (while being eco and environmentally conscious) was in our backyard.
WHAT FOLLOWED: Trial. Error. More trials. Lessons learned. We kept at it for years until we perfected Soybru's complex, concentrated balance of salty and sweet that makes any dish more flavourful. The results have been worthwhile; now we invite you to try an "East-Coast Accent."
WHAT WE GUARANTEE: No added sweeteners. No artificial colours. No added preservatives. A finishing sauce that makes a bold statement. The simplicity of a local product combined with the sophistication of years of expertise, passion, and commitment. A bold bottle containing the best PEI has to offer.
